I bought mine (2) already, so I guess I'll share it with you folks!
http://www.ebay.com/itm/330918226729 <--- ebay link!
SUUUUURRRGGGEEE!
i dont understand why people are so crazy about this
its just mountain dew
It's not, it was more sugary, more citrus to it too.
It was Coke's counter to Mountain dew, and it was amazing!
I will also assume you weren't born in a year that correlates with surge either, I'm an 89 baby, so it was around just in the prime of my childhood. Memories man, memories..
Drinking a surge, watching Kenan and Kel or Are you afraid of the dark...
I have no idea what it is, but from the video I reckon that's some old drink and not made anymore and because it's old some people will want to pay top dollar for it, right?
In Poland there was such a drink, Frugo it's called. They made a reboot and it sold like the shit for a few months, and now it's reputation is set in stone and sells well and steadily. So honestly I'd say CCC could make a buck from something like this, using it as viral marketing of sorts.
So you want me to pay $15 for a glass of soda?
So you want me to pay $15 for a glass of soda?
Like proch said, it's worth top dollar for the ones who do miss it.
It's the opportunity for those who A: miss the hell out of it, B: Have $15 they would probably spend on stupid stuff anyways (in my case, 2 car washes, or a single meal out with friends).
If someone can pay $263.00 per ounce for fucking fish eggs (Iranian Imperial 000 Caviar), I reckon I can relive my childhood for $15.

when i was a kid i never got name brand soda, always the generic version, sure i saw surge in stores but "citrus drink" tasted the same to me
seems a bit silly to spend $15 on something that lasts all of ten minutes purely for nostalgia's sake
He makes it seem like it's gold, it looks like it's totally overrated.
Not worth my money.
Fun Fact: They still sell Surge/Urge in Norway.
I am actually drinking some right now.

See, I'd have traveled that route if there was a friggin website that sold it!
I've awarded you a star :D

You get that here in the UK too in the polish section of Tesco.
Surge was the bastard child of 7-Up/Mountain Dew and Mello Yello.
I want Pepsi Blue back. Otherwise i dont care about any other dead soda.
Oh wait no, Mountain Dew Pitch Black too.

Surge was the shit but it was too close to mountain dew so nobody cared at all.

top dollar for sugar water
http://www.savesurge.org/urge_usa.shtml
For those who don't know about Urge/Surge shipping from over there to the US.
I remember "Pepsi Blue" from like 10 years ago. I don't remember how it tastes, but I think it was just a gimmicky blue pepsi. It's still sold in some places apparently.
You could make tons of money with people like this. Wasn't there a McRib tour through the USA because MacDonalds was getting rid of it? Didn't people buy up all the "last" Twinkies for large sums of money because they thought they will leave the face of earth forever? (And now they are coming back.)
It is not exactly like lost technology of WH40k.
Fuck yeah, worship sugar. Water is for washing down turds.
I would love to try this, but unfortunately I don't have $15. Also, I wish Mountain Dew: Pitch Black would make a return; for good this time.
Does anyone know where I can get New Coke or something
You get that here in the UK too in the polish section of Tesco.
Wait what the fuck, Tesco has a Polish section?
God, these are a few I personally miss that I've saved. I've got a few more as well. I collect a lot of soda.
I wish I had a pepsi blue but that was when I was younger and way before I started doing this. It was my favorite soda ever.

Judging by the bottles in the background and how he talks about pouring Schweppes int a glass correctly I'd say he's a connoisseur of beverages.
Apparently these existed.

I don't drink soda anymore but I definitely would have bought that.

if you consider a meal with friends stupid then I'm really worried for you and caviar is that expensive because of its difficulty to produce

What lol is Surge the same as Urge? Yeah I see why people would buy this. Urge is pretty much the best selling shit along with Coke.
It came to Norway when the "zero/light/plus/diet/max" hype was at it's worst, and it has the slogan "With carbs".
It's one of the few soft drinks in Norway that doesn't have a diet version.
[editline]6th May 2013[/editline]
Urge/surge is ONLY sold in Norway, and has a 10% marketshare, despite absolutely no marketing since release.
