I posted the trailer the other day..
Here is the short film, I guess..
So... they called to evacuate... "forget about freeman"
and then 60 seconds later
"watch out for a rogue scientist in a hazard suit named gordan freeman"...?
Yeah, that was kind of weird.
I thought it was going to be leading up to the point where Gordon first got his crowbar, but it was still pretty good.
that was really stupid
i like how the crowbar shot out of the power box because it got overheated ????????

Yeah, I totally thought it was gonna end up in the spot where you pick it up.
Also I thought it would have been better to have a fairly brief appearance by Gordon at the end without showing his face.
This wasn't that good. Gordon sure looked sad with all his frowning.
why does it look like he's wearing spartan armor
this is half life not halo
haha fucking terrible
ok im exaggerating but it's still bad
Dunno why everyones calling it terrible, production wise it was really well done, excellent camera angles, sound was great. It even had a pretty neat premise, although it woulda been neater if the crowbar ended up where Gordon first finds it, or maybe the second one he picks up at the trash compactor. But all up I thought it was really well done.
Was very strange, though, and Gordons frowny face was hilarious.

Film etiquette shows that any type of armor has to look "lol tacticool" in order for audiences to like it.
See: Robocop remake, GI Joe, etc.
The asylum is making fan-films now?
Dayum, that was a fast military response
And I know this is a short film and all, but that pacing was horrible
I really don't get what everyone's whining about. I thought it was great.
Decent acting, good cinematography, interesting execution. Gordon looking sad was an interesting change of tone from the usual badass-with-no-fear people tend to portray him as when in reality we never really get to SEE his emotions during all of this. The crowbar shooting out of the fusebox was a bit weird but fuck it, so are aliens eating your face and turning you into a rampaging puppet.
It bothers me he picked up crowbar and not the SMG.
Also yeah, REALLY wanted to see it being picked up either at the beginning or after soldiers take you away.
The concept was pretty good, but ehhhhh, so many fucking cliches and so many parts that could've been done better. Why are the military guys walking alone, for example? Would've made a lot more sense if it was like 3-4 guys standing outside.
And some of the shots were horribly done. They didn't attempt to hide the shitty CGI at all, for example, in the van scene, while they could've simply made it so, somehow, it was all blurry and you didn't have a shitty 3D van in plain sight, filmmakers have been doing that kind of stuff for years.

WHY
It would say "Ose your head" if the L didn't splatter in front of it, what the fuck does that mean.
I didn't like it..

"Use your head"
There's blood curved over the top of the U, so it makes it look like an O

Where did I say it was good
I said "decent"
And for that matter frowning implies sadness or otherwise being displeased
The old security guard hobbling around with a crowbar could've been executed waaaay better.
It's obvious he's stiff because, well, he's old. Pretty sure the script didn't call for it. They could've played it out where he was injured by the falling mechanic cart in the security room.
it didnt feel scary at all, too. they couldve made more stuff chasing the old guard and make it really tense because he's so slow and cant get away from it, but instead it just looks ridiculous and funny. the only part that was mildly scary and disturbing was the way the scientist didnt want his dying friend to destroy the headcrab.
