it looked really good why cancel it
Holy shit, this looks fucking great. Perhaps they moved the project elsewhere as the studio was laid off and I'm sure some sort of movie tie-in will come out in any case, be it a continuation of this or otherwise. Christ, I hope they don't release another piece of shit like Iron Man or Thor when this was in the works. Found an article on it if anyone is interested: http://www.kotaku.com.au/2011/09/what-was-thq-brisbane-working-on-before-the-studio-closed/. The videos have been taken down as THQ is going on a copyright spree. A few select quotes that blow my mind: '...at the time of the closure and they had already poured 18 months of hard work into crafting what was anticipated to be a high quality Marvel movie game instead of just another licensed title' 'approximately 200 people in total were working on the game'
Could do without the dub, but everything else looked cool. Kinda like a Marvel Borderlands.
Looked crazy, I would've bought it
Does this mean that in the avengers they fight the skrulls?
They probably had a reason to cancel it, you want it cause you can't have it, but if you had it you'd probably not want it. ^it it it it.
Want
I bet you guys wouldn't give two shits about this game if it wasn't cancelled.
I bet you guys wouldn't give two shits about this game if it wasn't cancelled.
I probably wouldn't feel quite as strongly as I do about wanting it to see the light of day, but I'd defiantly be looking forward to it. You can't deny that it's easily the most promising looking superhero game since the Batman: Arkham games Rocksteady have done.
Could do without the dub, but everything else looked cool. Kinda like a Marvel Borderlands.
What kind of borderlands have you been playing because this looks nothing like it.
What kind of borderlands have you been playing because this looks nothing like it.
Come on. I haven't even played Borderlands but the fact that there's 4 players, the XP numbers flying everywhere, the stylised look to the characters, even I got a Borderlands vibe from it.
What kind of borderlands have you been playing because this looks nothing like it.
I'm assuming he means all them numbers floating out of peoples crushed remains. Dear God, I'm not usually one for super hero games, but this looks genuinely interesting. I'm aware an avengers film is in production, maybe this game will be linked to the films release.
That was fucking cool
I was so happy and awestruck then I read "canceled".
Looks pretty bad, to be honest
The gameplay looks really awesome.
That's THQ australia, they got shut down, that's why it got cancelled. [editline]18th September 2011[/editline] http://www.smartcompany.com.au/buy-or-sell-a-business/20110811-video-game-industry-hit-as-thq-closes-two-australian-studios.html
Woah first person too. Looked kind of cool.
Please tell me there is another place I can see this, looks really interesting

I use VLC Media Player but I honestly have no idea if that's recommended or not. It was just the first thing that came up in Google when I searched for a player to play .flv. :v:
