Actually by policy most packages needs to be able to survive a 1 or 2 feet drop, if it doesn't its the senders fault for not packaging it right. But this is far beyond 2 feet.

Meanwhile all the fed ex and ups drivers i've met and had packages delivered by were nice as hell.

usually you can make it so you have to sign for the package, you avoid some of the horrors (ie throwing that monitor around, leaving the package in the rain, etc.

My UPS guy is pretty good. USPS however has lost packages, usually doesn't bring me my packages, instead they write a pink slip without ever knocking so I have to get it at the post office. One time he just opened the door on my mailbox and set the box ontop of it.

It's hard for me to get mad at the UPS dudes because they're like mini Santa's for me. When I see that brown truck pull into my driveway, nirvana. [sp]I need to quit using Newegg so much[/sp]
