Oh Dear..
In its defense I'm usually impressed when a game has anti-jank measures for when players mess with the controls.
i didn't know we played as vince mcmahon
Even though so far this game has a lot of stuff looking wrong, I'll still reserve my judgement when reviews come out. even if it's a little bit of hope. sigh.
it looks like a jank bioware mess
As much as I want to laugh at this game I'm legit kind of depressed about how shitty it is. I used to love Mass Effect, but the franchise was pretty much completely discredited with Mass Effect 3 and now it's a joke :disappoint: I'm feeling p certain this blunder of a game is going to tank the franchise for good.
I'm extremely disappointed. I wasn't hyped up for the new ME and they still managed to disappoint me. To me it is just ridiculous and unacceptable for a triple AAA dev team and publisher to have such lower quality in the game. I know bioware has had its issues when it comes to certain aspects but it was never this bad.

It wasn't hard to predict that the game will be janky as shit, it's Bioware. Now I'm patiently waiting to confirm my suspicions that the story is ass. What little recorded dialogues are out there fill me with great confidence.
It's sad that stuff like this is going to get a lot of attention in the coming days/weeks. I played it for ~4 hours tonight and didn't have anything buggy or weird happen, and as a huge fan of the original series I've been nothing but impressed with Andromeda so far. It's not gonna be perfect but it's also not a messy disaster of a trainwreck like some are led to believe.

How did they fuck it up like this? The faces and animations in previous Mass Effect games weren't anything special but they looked fine, and everything I've seen from ME:A looks objectively worse than before
Wait, is the game out already? I thought there is another week left till release.
Wait, is the game out already? I thought there is another week left till release.
Early access trial.
not gonna lie i was excited at first. now I'm disappointed.
I don't recall that Shepard had problems like this in the earlier Mass Effect games or if he did, they covered it up well.
when was this kind of thing a big deal? really? do you play smashing the direction keys like that? "I spent 60 dollars so this action RPG must have the most accurate human reaction to me screwing with the controls like having a seizure" fight me, however that dialogue animation is real crap for what it should be
That's nothing, watch this https://my.mixtape.moe/iopgcd.webm
About that.
All the Mass Effect games are a bit janky, but Andromeda may be giving Mass Effect 1 a run for its jankiness.
That's nothing, watch this https://my.mixtape.moe/iopgcd.webm
The facial animations and how the faces look, and terrible voice acting what :v: [editline]16th March 2017[/editline] the complete lack of shading on the eyes totally ruins it too like, go look in a mirror, see your own eyes, then look at ME4's. Doesn't look right at all. They're basically full bright and have no gloss at all. Just textured orbs.
That's nothing, watch this https://my.mixtape.moe/iopgcd.webm
Animatronics. Blank face while sounding extremely angry, then tired? "My face is tired from dealing with everything"? They're shitty fucking androids.
what a brilliant use of frostbite engine
The game looks really good in places, it's just those places aren't the people residing in the game world nor their animations.
Haven't seen this one yet. [t]https://i.imgur.com/lGrQTdF.gif[/t]
Oh boy, Crowbcat is going to have a field day with this one.
I don't know if it's a good game after looking at the character models and animation. It only gives Frostbite a bad name.
Haven't seen this one yet. [t]https://i.imgur.com/lGrQTdF.gif[/t]
i guess all barfights on the nexus must be like wrestling matches with how far that headbutt missed
Oh boy, Crowbcat is going to have a field day with this one.
At this rate his video is going to be just regular unedited gameplay
this is an absolute travesty
If I see any more of these Andromeda animations and dialogues I'm gonna start believing Bioware outsourced those things to some sort of Cleverbot-style generator. So much Uncanny Valley stuff in there that doesn't look like someone concerned about quality actually went over them twice. I wonder if transitioning to something more open world was such a big step out of the team's comfort zone that it started cutting into the budget elsewhere. Or maybe just a lot of people have left since the last Mass Effect? It's not like ME was ever exempt from the Uncanny Valley, but Andromeda certainly seems to be a special case so far.
See i think their marketing budget went on the QA teams drug supply.
