I havn't longboarded in like a month. I bombed a hill, got to 40mph, speed wobble'd, fell, ate shit. Entire thigh got sanded, my stomach got sanded, both elbows torn up, one knee cap had 4 gashes, and the other had one. Oh, and my wrist got cut open. :emo:

That's probably the 1 drawback to owning a longboard, the high speed falls.

I'm getting a longboard for christmas, longboarding is something I'd really enjoy being good at.

Freeboarding IMO is a lot more fun.

I never longboarded until this summer. I was working on an island and one of my coworkers had one. Even though everything was pretty flat, the speed was great. Much faster than skateboarding, and I feel like it has better control as well.

Oh, and my wrist got cut open. :emo:[/QUOTE] fucking speed wobble sucks. one time i was bombin a hill on halloween with a couple of buddies of mine i had a 3 pound back pack on plus i was wearin baggy pants and at the bottom of the hill was a really sharp turn PLUS i had shitload of speed wobble but sucssesfully made the turn.

I love longboarding. The one major drawback is falling off at high speeds, which essentially turned me off from longboarding. I fell down once super fast and haven't mustered up the courage since.

I'm getting a longboard for Christmas but I wasn't sure which one to get. Does this one look pretty good?
