This one was better because at least the people in the video were a bit more good natured and didn't try to take a swing at him. Like that one video where he's pretending to siphon petrol from vehicles. That video was pretty cringe worthy.

The only good "prank" videos are the ones where they get knocked out for being stupid.

I hope this doesn't turn out to another RomanAtwood hate thread like the last one :v:

I think their best videos are the ones where they are messing with the cops, or they go out in public and ask someone a strange question but show the person what they are actually talking about. For example he goes around and asks cops if they want a little buzz, and then eventually he shows them a small buzz light-year action figure.

A minor thing about prank videos that annoys me is when they leave in the part where they reveal the prank. They should cut those parts out, or at least put them at the end of the video. edit: Unless they're funny

Personally I think it should come down to if it is said with malice or not, but my opinion does not change the fact that it is still considered a taboo word.

[editline]8th July 2014[/editline] Of course, it'll probably never happen now that Youtube has taken over a lot of television's market, but I'd like to see a really large-scale, Beadle's About-sized prank where they get a single street and transform it into a different time period. Dress up shop facades, get a bunch of classic cars driving around blasting out early Rock n Roll, loads of people walking in period costumes, a newsboy selling mock-up newspapers. That'd get some reactions.

[/QUOTE] It's a phrase of solidarity, an appropriation of a slur. It's okay to use it among friends because it's a sort of shared title, a shared history, whatever. Which is why it's offensive if a white guy says it to a black guy, but not when a black guy says it back or to another black guy.
