I love watching videos of people making stuff, so this was a lot of fun to watch.

This guy is super cool but the chains on his wrist always annoyed me.
The guy is clearly quite brilliant, but he is one of those "mad-genius" types, considering he just up and left civilization in favour of living in the middle of nowhere.

Going to assume he wears those to become stronger.

What's wrong with chain wrists?
You're a wee bit late but I love this guy too much to complain.
Jamie, bro, we love you.
You really, REALLY have to put some fucking gloves on. The fact that he was using tin-snips AND was working with that kind of metal means one wrong move and he could have massively fucked up his hands. I'm talking inches deep, here.
I'm not a huge fan of this guy actually. I watched all his robot videos and he seems a bit self absorbed. Like when he started making some of the "robots" pieces from this poly carbonate material, everyone was telling him it would break. So he responds with the classic "I'm the one building the giant robot here, not you". Then, of course, the pieces broke in a test video and he went into a huge rant telling everyone not to say "I told you so".

There's actually a pretty cool symbolism behind it.

Because this is a person that very clearly prefers to find out things by himself, by trial and error.

Like how it took him years to figure out how a tap works...

No need to criticise him for not following advice when he doesn't want it.
I don't see why you're offended and taking it as agressive behaviour.

So he doesn't do things conventionally, who cares. Dudes obviously nuts out of his mind, but he's way cool at the same time.
