Aaron Paul should have waited a while before doing another major role, or done something dramatically different.
From that trailer, he just seems exactly like Jesse from Breaking Bad.
This is probably going to be a decent race movie, but definitely going to be a shitty Need for Speed movie.
Every NFS I've played has always been about underground racing and working your way to the top. The only thing driving you is the desire to be the best or some rare cases to seek vengeance on some ass hole you took your ride after cheating you out of it. There really isn't much story to these games. So why do this? Why try to compete with an already great series (Fast & Furious) when you know you can't even come close.

seriously though i would rather watch fast and furious 7 then this

poor writing and pretentious scripts that try to include all cliches of a triple A movie in whatever concept they put they hands on. I mean come on, fucking street racing should be just that, i would appreciate the movie much more if it involved a lot less but nailed what it has. This way, it just looks like another summer action movie with street racing as an excuse to include all kinds of product placement, need for speed video game advertising and overall, big actors on a generic Hollywood product that repeats itself year after year.
I'll defend most of nfs to the death but this looks retarded from a narrative standpoint.
I'll probably still watch it though cuz it's Aaron Paul racing cars. That's all I need.

Also the story seems extremely stupid and unoriginal.

I hated it until the country side racing scenes came in, really reminded me of the old need for speed hot pursuit games.

I still don't get why Ludacris is Jim Bravura, originally an old white guy, in Max Payne.
I feel like Aaron Paul just took the first offer he got after Breaking Bad, I was willing to give the movie a chance, but it still looks just as bad as it sounded.

The plot is gonna be shit but holy fuck that car linup, tell me any other movie that has a Koenigsegg in it, not to mention the new McLaren P1 and Bugatti SuperSport.
