Sorry if it is late.
I love Joss
Joss Whedon for Post-America President 2015.
I don't like Romney but why does anyone give a fuck what a celebrity says about politics?

You could ask the same about anyone. Just because they are a celebrity doesn't mean they are less qualified to give an opinion or to be heard.

Just because someone is considered a 'celebrity' doesn't mean they can't express themselves.

Because if they're educated on a subject and use their popularity to be heard it's pretty effective also they can use their large earnings on worthwhile causes?

Most celebrities are going to speak out against Republican candidates.
I love his voice

But they are almost never educated. They are just spewing their opinion as if it were fact.

They're still within their rights to do it regardless. Whether you agree with them or not is up to you.

Joss is pretty educated in this sort of stuff. The sort of Social commentary seen in his TV show, Movies, and comic books is very liberal to say the least, and he probably took some time to develop and research his views.

Hell, both Firefly and Dollhouse had some very obvious anti-corporative commentaries, not to mention the baddies in Firefly were basically the United States of Space.

No. That would be Politicians and the press. Celebrities are actually often rather educated and informed. At least, those born in 75 and on.
All you have to do, is to take all the info into account and keep an ear to the ground. Oh yeah, and learn to distinct between a credible source and a shit one... and what's not a source at all, like the Bible.

I imagine most politicians are more educated about politics than most celebrities.

Like you, right now?
