This software is free with no watermarks until October 1st, I just tested this out yesterday with a road bike ride and the results look pretty trippy like drone footage or something. Just search for "microsoft hyperlapse download" and it should be at the top if you want to try this software out. I've tried road bike time lapses before and they looked shitty and choppy, I like the effect this software gives you.

Could we get an upload of the raw footage used for comparison?
Seems like a pointless and extremely specific technology IMO, and for all the fancy science they put into it it still looks pretty jittery.

I'll speed up a small portion of the ride to the same speed and do a side by side comparison. The original footage is shaky as hell because of how I had the camera mounted, each crack in the pavement made the camera jitter. I'll put on stabilization to max settings to see the difference. GoPro footage looks weird when you stabilize it most times because of the fisheye view, so I'm sure the Hyperlapse software will look way better.

Hardly pointless, though it's definitely kind of a niche croud it's catering to. It's sort of in the same market space as GoPro cameras and maybe even dashcam tech; Sort of artistic or documentary amature videography, but taken a bit further with this now.
I much preferred watching this at 2x speed. (Muted)

Since probably ancient times.
That song fits as much in that video as a square peg does in a round hole.

is this in arizona? I'm getting a lot of deja vu

Yes it's AZ... The video would be way better almost anywhere else in the world, I live on a grid basically so there are not many curvy roads or hills. We are planning to move VERY soon because it's 108 out right now and has hit 100 every day for probably the last month or two. 5 months of 100 degree weather sucks ass...

if you think of it as constantly being in front of a fireplace except on all sides it isn't so bad

Is that in Chandler? Oh you already answered.

I asked my buddies if I should save their song for something else better. I'll probably end up deleting this video in the next few days, I agree the song doesn't really fit at a lot of parts now that I look at it again...

Yup it's Chandler... Apparently we made top 10 most boring cities in the US lol... I agree. The property is really nice out here, but there is not shit to do and it's hotter than fuck!

Holy shit I just rendered a part of the video in my normal software with maximum stabilization on and it looks terrible at the same speed! I'll upload it tonight when I go to bed, it's 1.3 GB because it's in 4K, but it looks horrendous. The difference is insane though... The video quality might look a bit more clear on the non hyperlapse video, but the stability is a million times better with the hyperlapse software.
