If you're not laughing after this somethin's wrong with you

That was boring.
I only smirked when granny got shoved down the stairs.
I laughed at a few parts, just because they were demonstrating how funny glitches can be when you have a revolutionary physics engine lol.
And the editing is actually really well done. They not only used the built in editor for camera placement and tracking, they did a lot of editing with masks to make scenes funnier. Doesn't look easy.

You just bought the game huh?

Well then in that case something is definitely wrong with me.
i like this video

Reminds me of those times when I would just keep rolling down the street even after I hit an obstacle.
The last video from abcpea is fucking win!
Gotta love physics.
I got a BSOD while watching the video for no reason.
So I did not laugh.
Well at least it reminded me how awesome Smash Mouth is.
These videos remind me how boring Gta 4 is now.
It didn't even contain the funniest thing, bumping into to someone holding a camera picking it up and throwing it at the back of their heads.
It was okay. But funny? No.

These videos are why Euphoria needs to be in more games
That was ok

Euphoria is awful, actually.

You're better off just making your own prodecural animation system.
To summarize, we're not using Euphoria because it's not publicly available, it's too expensive, it doesn't really exist as advertised, and we have the experience to create our own animation system that is better suited to our needs.
It's pretty lame that it isn't publicly available for anyone to buy, but I don't see where you're getting the "Euphoria is awful" part in that blog post.

Because it's not really software, you just pay millions for some dudes to write a procedural animation system for your game.
Therefore, I think it sucks.
Well I still think the end product is nice.

Taking that part off the equasion what YOU see ingame is great. When you shoot people on stairs they fall realisticly and you only need to shoot the guy that is higher because then he will roll and hit the guy that is lower on the stairs. When the character gets hit by a car, etc... What would you prefer? Ragdolls? Or very well made animations like in Call of Duty but that after a time you notice that they are repeating? Of course that this still has some problems but if they get to improve it it will be a very good feature to have in a game
YouTube is being slow as shit for me, so I can't see the whole thing. Was this done over Xbox? If not, the maker of this video has a great PC.
Some of those things I've done. Like running after a cab while calling for it.
And pushing people down the stairs.
Part I busted out laughing was the interview mission. Damn slow-ass NPC's.

That's by far the best gta iv video I've ever seen

Yeah, let's just ignore the fact that it looks fucking amazing and works just awesome and makes games that use it a million times better (like GTAIV), IT'S NOT PUBLICLY AVAILABLE THEREFORE IT SUCKS .

Oh, so if you were making a game and you wanted procedural animations, would you rather:
a) Pay millions for some outsiders to wire things up and hope it works
b) Get off your lazy butt and do it yourself.
You know what, I'm gonna stop derailing this thread. Back to the movie discussion...
