This is my first real short film I Directed it and edited it. The writing isn't top notch but work is work (he took himself too seriously as we are all 14-17 year olds). I'm about to start writing a small miniseries myself so if there is any constructive criticism or advice please just PM me or leave a comment, it would be great to get some feedback. Thanks and enjoy! on second thought would this be better in the creative corner?
Very nice filming, looked like a real (short) hollywood movie. But there's were some parts where I had no idea what was going on. But still, very nice. Hope to see some more stuff from you. :)
The only thing I didn't like was the music at 1:31, it just seems really out of place. Other than that it looks really good, what camera was used to film it?

This is why I'm writing my next project a miniseries.
Very nice filming, looked like a real (short) hollywood movie. But still, very nice. I love that accent. ´´You´re just ashimed. Really ashimed.´´

Good to see more Aussies getting into film making! But remember, if you plan to make money, you won't unless you make it big in the cinemas, because if you put it straight to DVD, I'll probably end up pirating it. Oh, and the short film was great, pretty predictable, but was a good spin on a classic formula. Good luck with any future endeavors.
Thanks for the feedback so far guys.
The lighting at 0.56 is stark and bland, and that shot is used a couple of times, I woulda gone for a more darkened filter in post, deffo a vignette (you should add that anyway for a filmic look) other than that its fairly good. and I agree with the music, it doesnt fit, little too loud and jarring
Wow, that was really good. I was expecting some teenager shake-cam and I was pleasantly surprised. Still, there were some things that bugged me. It was a bit difficult to make out what they said, so they need to speak up a bit. The scream was a bit out of place as well. The lighting was bit strange, makes it seem a bit like a soap-opera. Not sure if that was where you were headed, but eh... The last thing that I was uneasy about was that the video dragged on with no clear point to where it was trying to go. Maybe if you told us the plot I could give you better advice. All I could make out was that the dude was in the military and was either killed or badly injured, and the wife/girlfriend is haunted by his image. Seems kinda soap-opera-y to me. What's she going to do? Sit on her couch for the next few episodes and be attacked by hallucinations? The video didn't leave me with wanting to watch the rest of the series, just "okay now that's over time to do something else." It's still better then anything I could ever do, but hey.

Voices were too quiet, had to pump up the volume a bit. But extremely good otherwise.
So I am re-editing it, i'm pumping up the master volume, choosing a new song and altering some color correction. Any other suggestions?
:golfclap: Pretty nice. Just that I had to turn up my speakers because the voices were a little too quiet, Like a few others have said.
