For some reason I was expecting Caesar's Legion, still though, looks sweet.
I am legitimately excited for this. Last couple of movies I've saw have been meh.
This looks piss-poor.
I thought the concept would be awesome but then I see that everything is just...the same. It's modern day stuff and there is very little "Roman" to it at all.
Disappointment. =/
Looks like another political intrigue shooter, there are not enough roman overtones to the story
Agreed.
Yeah, was pretty excited at first, but then I watched it and it didn't seem very Roman at all.
'Tis a shame.
Might still be good, though.
They included previous titles and a famous name. Compensating i say.
None of those cars, guns, fashions, or anything else would exist if the Roman Empire had never fallen. Also they'd be speaking Latin.
Major disappoint.
Brian Cox? What?
So they're modernizing a Shakespeare play like what happened with Romeo and Juliet.
Looks cool, I'm learning about Roman Empire in history class (sadly, it doesn't look Roman).
Only thing i took away from this was dissappointment with the Harry Potter series negligence of having Ralph Phiennes scream and yell in rage at a higher frequency. But meh. The Voldemort in the films was very underdeveloped anyway.
How can you judge the movie from seeing so little footage, maybe they didn't want to show off all the best bits like every other movie does nowadays.
I'm pretty disappointed there wasn't a lot of Roman-ey things in the trailer, however you could easily make the point that the Roman Empire had to have gone through a couple transformations if it stood for another thousand and a half years.
Needs more loin cloth
Expected Gladiator 2
