A month, actually. According to a dev on Polycount (I think) it's been in the works for 9 months since the art team wrapped up their work on the base game.

There are two in the base game actually. One of them is part of a side quest and can even be skipped based on how you play through it.
It was a shame pritchard wasn't in the game its nice to see him
