Looks amazing for a Source mod!
Never will be good haha a model conversion of the HL2 car?
Video was probably made with a much more cinematic program. It's not hard to put HL2 models and textures into another program.
A teaser for a source mod with after effects smeared all over it. Yep looks amazing...
Isn't the name SHIFT already taken? (NFS SHIFT)
I hope this isn't hl2 car physics, I'm really hoping they write their own stuff.
If I remember correctly, they were trying to create dynamic shadowing and lighting using source, and through that, they would have a cinematic feel in this game.
That looks pretty nice only that source is very limited though.
It's not dead?! I had followed this mod a couple months ago on ModDB and they hadn't updated anything for a while. Nice to know that...

:frog:
It's always gonna have that 'source' feel to it.
But i agree that it looks amazing, and source is an amazing engine.
I got too distracted by the Bukkake Bandits window sticker to take this any seriously
I was expecting a source rendition of that flash game where you switch between white and black :colbert:

its funny because it's true
Looks like they decided to take that shitty looking blue exhaust pipe off that car. Good, it was an eyesore.
Looks neat, but can I use a racing wheel with it?

Yea.
Did anyone else read the title as Shit mod trailer?
Dat lens flare.
Red the thread title as Shit Mod
and then your boyfriend blue you
Lovin the Gordon Freeman spray on the bonnet.
The funny thing is there is no vehicle prediction in the Source Engine, so the most you can accomplish is smoothing the player's view inbetween frames.
For laymen: if it's multiplayer, you'll always have lag no matter what.
I really like the atmosphere in it.
