Those puppets look great and I'm liking the premise of the film.
Something kind of weird regarding the Kickstarter, though- they mention that the film will either be 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or a "feature length film" depending on which goal is reached. Because Kickstarter is all-or-nothing, I'd assume their current goal is for a 10 minute film- and their current goal is $256k. I understand that's a relatively small budget for a film, but it also seems pretty high in the context of it being a ten-minute-long crowdfunded production.
Though, I'm not entirely familiar with Kickstarter so maybe that's totally reasonable.

$256k? Damn that's HUGE for a 10 min film. Keep in mind Kung Fury was at 30 min for 200k and their only length altering goal was into a full-length movie at 1m.

so when does Toys-R-Us sue them for the use of capital "R"
Theirs is around the right way though
So......appperently they give the dolls away if you pay enough.
Also they mention all the dolls have holes......
I will bang this Rabbit hard.
This is the kind of silly and bizarre idea I'd be interested in seeing come into fruition.
lol the dog in robot suit reminds me of snuffles in rick and morty

Besides the puppets looking cool this looks like shit to be honest
The issue I have with this so far is the movie feels a little too self-aware in it's writing. I think a lot of humor can come from it taking itself more seriously and playing it straight. Maybe it's just the trailer gag, but it's hard to tell. Also, in general the dialogue seems poorly written.
Love the look of it though.

feature-quality stop motion animation is way more expensive than a low budget movie shot almost entirely on a green screen with cheesy cgi
If I remember right I think they said each puppet costs about $10,000 to make, or at leas the Sphynx cat was. When you look at it that way along with creating miniature sets with great detail the costs do kinda make sense.
My only major concern is if they can make the movie good. Puppets are fun and all but they won't carry this film very far if they can't make the story fun. I feel like they need to show off a little more before people can consider donating. I wanna know more about these characters and this world. I wanna feel invested before I invest.
That's what made the Dead Meat Kickstarter so enjoyable to me. Maxwell Atoms did an amazing job explaining his world and showing off his characters. Have a link to see what I'm talking about.

Its certainly original sounding and the models and sets are well made but i couldn't help but laugh at the trailer and it wasnt because the writing was funny.
The puppeteering is just awkward looking, amateurish in fact. The voice over was odd cause boththe cat and the bat sounded exactly the same too so much i had trouble differentiating the two. The mix mash of animation and puppertering and even effects just took away from it so so much.
If this were a modest kickstarter asking a modest amount akin to like other indie movies which can make their movies (yes even animated and puppted ones not just live action) for less, i'd expect this sort of outcome and would be fine with it.
But for this cash with that puppetering and odd mix of effects and voice work i ain't sold.

A lot of people use Kickstarter to gauge the market and get investors, so they don't put the goal too high. These guys look like they want to do it completely indie.

I could see it being a way to gauge the market, too.
If they fail to meet their goal, then hopefully they'll see that as them being too ambitious with their goals, will sit down and re-evaluate their game plan and budget, and then try again with leaner goals.
This is fucking AMAZING, but I've always been so, sososo hesitant on donating stuff that's on Kickstarter... auuughhlkamlf I'm so torn
