Georgia animal shelter made this video to try to boost adoptions and some internet folks found it and then it went viral and now the video has 4+mil views in under 3 weeks and the organisation has a huge boost in adoptions, volunteers and donations. Pretty nice story actually. They just posted this update blog post on their site a few days ago: https://furkids.org/blog/thank-you-from-furkids
That "in the arms of an angel" cover at the end got me pretty good
the inflatable tubeman impression gets me every time
"I need about three kitty" :v:
the inflatable tubeman impression gets me every time
Had to do a double take to realise what she was doing. Amazing :v:
What they don't tell you is that being a No-Kill Rescue/Shelter they don't take in all animals. I used to work at my county's animal shelter and learned a lot about how most No-Kill Shelters only accept animals they think could get adopted. And usually charge crazy amounts to adopt the animals. Not saying this place does this, but a lot of them brand themselves as amazing places, yet they won't accept all animals. The place I worked at accepted all animals, but we had to euthanize everyday. We were underfunded and the only reason we euthanized was because of lack of space. I thankfully never had to put any animal down, but it was just a sad situation. I just hate No Kill Shelters only give you half the story. Like the alternative is just let the animal roam and breed further, which creates the conditions for the need of animal shelters. Spay and Neuter your animals people.
