It's a good game from what I heard. Not exceptional but good. They apparently still managed to fuck up a few things though, I just don't understand how Sega can't help but always fuck something up in their games.

What do you mean they always fuck something up in their games? Sonic Colors was near perfect.

Yep. "Near perfect". It's a real shame Sonic hadn't actually reached an amazing level on any of his games since, well, pretty much sonic 3 & knuckles.
