I'm going to play that song as the bombs are falling.
This remind me of fallout.

I would play this song.
You have to know that as well as the blast of damage there is likely to be a firestorm if you live in a built up "old" city like London, or any city which isn't mainly consisted of concrete skyscrapers.
Well, if there's going to be a nuclear war, and the whole world is affected, i'd just die, i wouldn't want to live after a nuclear war.

Remember fallout. Wasn't it fun?

Remember The Road? Wasn't it a fucking terrible existence?

Pfft, I think I'll trust people from the 1950s who lived with the fear of a bomb being dropped.

Obligatory Stanley Kubrick.
I don't live in any danger zone. A barely populated area in the middle of nowhere (7 people per square kilomiter), in nearly neutral Norway. On top of that I live in a valley isolated by tall hillish mountains. 0% chance any bombs are going to hit me here. Probably the safest place on the planet, this here. No crime or extreme weather or traffic or smog or anything really.
Republic dave?!
Enclave is better , i'd be joining up the corrupt but mighty society that is clean no matter what.
right smack in the middle of san diego
i dont think it matters what i do, we'll probably get hit with multiple nukes if there is an attack

plus instant death sounds better than starving to death or dying from radiation

Maybe, more importantly remember what a mediocre book it was?

I'd rather not have robots trying to kill me every time my leader Bluescreens.
It doesn't matter wear you live, radiation will eventually be blown in your direction and give you horrible, skin melting cancer.
It could be avoided if only a few nukes were deployed, but the entire arsenal dropped in one area (especially as big as America) would cause fallout everywhere. That kind of explains what happens to Africa in most post-nuking media.

Or you know, they'll set off San Onofre powerplant and we all die.
Yeah I'm gonna die.

except for when radioactive fallout settles in that bowl of a valley you live in
[editline]28th February 2012[/editline]
there's a movie about what happens when a nuke hits my city
Steel .7 feet
rock 2-3 feet
concrete 2.2 feet
soil 3.3 ft
wood 8.8 ft
Are these the thickness of material to absorb the radiation? It's the small chart he gives at 2:46 and it is puzzling.

Too bad Norway's still going to get butt fucked by Russia if a war breaks out.
My city is projected to get 4 nukes, so I don't know how well this would go when I have thousands of Siverts rushing through my system.

Sheffield?
Kansas City?
Can't wait to eat twinkies all day long.
There are no basements in Houston.
:suicide:
I'm a fat 30 minutes from Detroit. I can see the city's glare from my room. I'm definitely within the danger zone.
I used to have an intricate plan back at my old home, but now I'm just like "fuck it".
Still have my bug out bag though.

Not likely, actually. If there was an attack it would be more likely a terrorist with a single bomb rather than a foreign power attacking with several weapons at once.

kansas city, yeah
Isn't this a bit silly? "When a nuclear bomb drops, construct a fallout shelter" What do I do with a fallout shelter when I'm freaking soon-to-be-dead?
