Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes.
I don't care if I'm going to be disappointed, I'll be a man or I'll be a fool, I'm buying it now.
Oh shit it's Cyberdemon!
Is the original TES: Online any good?
Is the original TES: Online any good?
it got a lot of QoL updates that made it a good game to play while listening to podcasts or watching something
Okay so neat trailer i suppose but it did not feel very Morrowind to me,
all they did was reference Morag Tong and placed the location into a generic looking jungle with some mushrooms and a Dwemer ruin.
Also those Dunmer look terrible, they striped them of all there tradition characteristics and made them blue humans with red eyes.
They look basically the exact same as the ones in skyrim.
they look like recolored humans compared to skyrim if you ask me
(oops picture posted already)
having said that, I wouldn't mind a lot of the races losing the benedict cumberbatch eye/cheekbone placement

You serious? Just about every elven race in TES is basically humans.

Official art from Bethesda when Oblivion was released. Pretty Human to me.
My only want for Morrowind is literally give the Dwemer back their Aesthetic from it. Like this had wiring, steam engines, and electric lights along with pipes. Gib it back.
Yeah, the fat noble one from the trailer looked straight imperial.
When does ESO take place? It might have to do with mixed breeding, if legitimate
Uh, excepting the final shot of Red Mountain... What part of that was supposed to look like Morrowind??

Oblivion made every race generic something they tried to correct in Skyrim.
For example in Argonians and Khajit lost there beast legs

(edit)
also if you want to to use art as a example here is dunmer concept art from morrowind

If you care about anything TES then no. If you want generic fantasy MMO then sure

In between Oblivion and Skyrim I believe.

I've been disappointed with some of the ways they've changed the lore same as any other fan but I appreciated some of the ways they remained true to the series. The fact that there's a typical rogue fighting alongside a notable magic user with a greatsword is a good callback to the fact that the series is very open in terms of how they let you build a character. ESO for example added back medium armour opposite to skyrim, and gave a lot more significant reasons to why you'd wear each type than in any game in the series previously.

ESO is set before any other elder scrolls game by an immense margin.
The dwemer did a poor job protecting the city entrance from invaders.

Really? I could have sworn I remember reading that it took place after Oblivion.
Really? I could have sworn I remember reading that it took place after Oblivion.
it takes place like 500 years before arena
That must be the most inefficient assasination ever. Typical for Morag Tong.
Anyway, I got no Morrowind vibes at all from this so consider me disinterested.

It's not a particularly good Elder Scrolls title, but compared to pretty much any other MMORPG it's fantastic. It's improved a lot since it was first released

Just an FYI, not a lot of people know this, but in Morrowind (TES 3 game, obviously), you play strictly on Vvardenfel, whereas Morrowind province itself has quite some stuff to it.

Really been itching to get back into this, but they updated it to DX11 so i can't play the PC version anymore and i'm loathe to shell out the huge chunk of change for the PS4 version.

You can force it to DX9. Go to documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live and open UserSettings.txt
then look for this line
SET GraphicsDriver.7 "D3D11"
and change it to D3D9
Might have to set it to read-only too, not sure.

I kinda wish they let us explore more of the province. Mournhold looked pretty darn cool in the Tribunal expansion.
