Unleashed and Generations models are gorgeous
I wanna see a Street Fighter episode. It'd be interesting to see an episode about the EX series models.
This was pretty poor, specially compared to the first episode but it only shows he doesn't have much knowledge about modelling development or even the context of each game and instead just often babbles "Whoops there are extra polygons but I don't know what for" The model on unleashed has a pretty impressive density for what they were aiming for and was in no way wasted, if you put in context that they were also using the model as a benchmark for the efficiency of the engine considering it also was the same model used in in-game cutscenes while on Sonic Colors it was pre-rendered There are pretty important stylization details he completely missed and also the context of the game's budget like in Sonic Heroes where you have 3 playable characters on the same screen, Sonic Lost World's model is more stylized featuring also more cartoonish proportions
He also listed Boom as a "main series title" even though it isn't and didn't seem to bother including his model from Shuffle despite showing off the models from Fighters, 3D Blast, the Storybook Series and again Boom.
I hope he does Link next.
How is Boom not a main series title?
It isn't, it's just a spin-off (series) that has nothing to do with the rest of the franchise and on-top of that was made by an entirely different developer (Big Red Button > Sonic Team).
