Um... Pretty sure there's a difference between homo and heterosexuals. Surely if there wasn't any difference those 2 terms wouldn't even exist. It's not discrimination against homosexuals to acknowledge there's a difference between them and heterosexuals. Same way it's not discrimination against blond people to see that they have different hair than brunettes. It's only discrimination against someone when you treat that person worse based on their actual or perceived membership in a certain group or category, such as their race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, religion, age, disability, skin color, ethnicity, or other characteristics.
Discriminate in the sense you copypasted means nothing else than "distinguish", for instance "discriminate right from wrong". There's nothing negative about that term when used in that way.
Oh hey, aren't those some words from that one book that also speaks about how women are subordinates to men who should shut the fuck up when ordered to/working on sundays should be a death sentence/you shouldn't wear clothes made out of two materials
