Calling for the reduction of rights from adults is creepy and abhorrent. What is wrong with you?
Calling for the reduction of rights from adults is creepy and abhorrent. What is wrong with you?
I said raised to 21.
It's totally fine the way it is. Don't fight puberty.
Teenagers are impulsive, yes, but not stupid. Let them figure this shit out for themselves.
I said raised to 21.
I know. Is something wrong with your reading comprehension?
I know. Is something wrong with your reading comprehension?
Then you re fine with my opinion?
While I don't agree with every countries age of consent(that is up to the countries people to decide), the fact remains it won't stop people from doing what they have been doing from the beginning of time. This video is more directed(or misdirected) at the fact that parents and people facing the age of consent may not fully be aware of the actions they are doing. While this may be shit to say, you can't stop people from fucking, it ain't going to happen so long as humanity exists. The best thing you can do is be a responsible parent talk about what sex can lead to when you feel it is appropriate for your child. I hate to say southpark but there was an episode where they address this exact topic and hit the nail on the head.
Then you re fine with my opinion?
What the hell? I honestly don't know if you're trolling or not.
The Age of Consent in the US is pretty fine, though it varies state to state. Some States are 16, some are 18, and a few are 17. Just really depends, though the laws in most of these states surrounding it are sound.
The age of a consent is such a weird thing for the 1-3 years where you and your friends are dancing on either side of it. Tons of high school kids commit statutory rape just by having sex with their boyfriends or girlfriends, cuz one might be 18 and the other is 17 or 16.
What the hell? I honestly don't know if you're trolling or not.
You re right. It should be raised to the age of 62. That way shotgun weddings are prevented.
Discuss. I believe it should be raised to 21.
Thats stupid. Do you even have a reason for this? Is it just because thats the age when you can buy alcohol? You realize thats stupid, right?
You re right. It should be raised to the age of 62. People are going to fuck because we do it, education of sex is a delicate matter but age of consent should come after people make the call normally 18 in the states.
cuz one might be 18 and the other is 17 or 16.
If there isn't a clause stating that it isn't statutory if the two parties are within 2-3 years of each other in age, there should be.
Thats stupid. Do you even have a reason for this? Is it just because thats the age when you can buy alcohol? You realize thats stupid, right?
I'm really curious about how old JohhnyCarson is, and how much sex they have, in order to have this opinion
If there isn't a clause stating that it isn't statutory if the two parties are within 2-3 years of each other in age, there should be.
I know in Pennsylvania, theres a 4 year range clause.
I'm really curious about how old JohhnyCarson is, and how much sex they have, in order to have this opinion
Going to go out on a limb and say I don't think he has had sex
If there isn't a clause stating that it isn't statutory if the two parties are within 2-3 years of each other in age, there should be.
I'm not sure. If there was, people at my school didn't hear about it. I knew people that chose not to have sex simply because they were afraid of being a sex offender.
Not if the state has sensible Romeo and Juliet laws.
You know that picture of the VA guy who was a registered sex offender for being 18 ans sexing a 17 year old? Turns out I went to school with him.
Keep the age of consent the current age it is, be a better parent and actually fucking teach them about Sex rather than leaving it to the school/government, which half the time they forget to mention important (but looked over) details. What is wrong with you?
Lemme translate this for Johnny. What bitches is saying, is that calling for the age of consent to be raised to 21, is limiting the options an Adult can have, which in return, is Creepy and Abhorrent.
Discuss. I believe it should be raised to 21.
Not like it would affect your sex life anyway you sad little sack of shit lol [editline]14th December 2015[/editline] Imagine being so much of a virgin that you don't want other teenagers to have sex
My country's age of consent is 15 and it seems like an age where you should be mature enough to decide about intimate stuff. I haven't heard bad stuff regarding the age for years, especially teen pregnancies (funny that few more pregnancies a year wouldn't hurt nowadays). What I don't understand is how some countries make you basically an adult at 18 but you can't drink alcohol until you're 21.
Discuss. I believe it should be raised to 21.
I'm actually curious if you have a line of reasoning for that. Explain
If a person is 21, they can buy beer. If they can buy beer, they have to get carded. Thus the age can be identified and confirmed. Meaning? Preventing the chances of people lying about their age. Thus lowering people chances of getting in trouble. Or the age of being able to buy beer should lowered to 18. Either way should work.

Raised to 21 will do nothing to stop people doing it, here in the UK when I was about 13-14 people started becoming sexually active. How are you going to stop people from doing it.
How old are you?

People are going to have sex, they just are, I did it in HS a lot did it in HS, but the important fact was we knew the consequences of our actions. I'll agree some +30 year old dude looking for a barely 18 year old is WRONG, but making a fuck load of highschoolers and college people criminals because "sex is bad" is stupid.
Either way should work.
Should != do. Honestly you've lost touch with reality if you assume that.
