Hi Guys, So this is something I've been working very hard on for a little while now. This is an interactive video - you can get up to 4 endings. :) It was done for no budget but any feedback is welcome :)
I expected to see something dumb, but this is just amazing...
Thanks guys - really glad people are liking it! Out of interest what's your fav ending ?
Renegade does not equal retarded. It's more about doing what it takes to get the job done. A better twist would have been [sp]to have the Asari take the male soldier as a hostage and a paragon option would save the soldier but let her get away and a renegade option would be to kill them both[/sp]. A paragon plays it safe and by the book. A renegade makes the required sacrifices and is willing to put the rules behind him in order to achieve results. If you just give all the goodies to Paragon it'll feel disappointing to pick anything different. If you want to just have two options (ie. open the box or close it) you don't really want to include the paragon and renegade options in that decision. Just make it about actually opening the box or closing it. I do understand what you guys were thinking with using them as the symbols for the choices. They do carry a bit more meaning than just "option A" and "option B" in the game though.
Pixelnator - firstly thanks for taking the time on this one. With regards to the 1st choice, I felt Hale (femshep) wouldn't of known that Meer was going to sacrifice himself over it. She thought at the time he'd be able to deal with. Yes in hindsight you can see it wasn't the best of idea's but like in ME you don't know the Ren/Para interrupts until after they have been done. Yes full agree with you that choices carry weight but on the second choice for example its not just about the opening the box or not. Your choice will depend if you flip out and kill everyone or leave quietly. You do make good points though :)
