Made this cover over the past few days, I'm pretty happy with how it turned out. I've been making covers for over a year now, but this is the first one I've made in around 5 months. The reason is because I wanted to take some time to develop better techniques and methods. I've switched how I hold my pick, I've improved my recording technique, and I'm using some new camera techniques, so in other words I've come a long way! I hope you guys can appreciate the video for what it is, I know a lot of you won't enjoy the music, but nonetheless I'd love to hear what you guys think. A lot of Facepunch members have Youtube accounts, so I'm hoping for some feedback on the camera techniques I used. I'm new at this, so I'm open to improvements. :v:

Embedding disabled by request.

You're welcome
Yeah, I disabled embedding because I'm pretty sure they don't add views to your video, unless it's changed..?
You've got some mad skills, OP! \m/

Thank you =) From the comments I've gathered, it seems like people enjoyed the video but want to see something more technically challenging. So I'm going to try a more challenging band next time, something from the likes of Architects, Counterparts, or Misery Signals. Maybe some Parkway Drive actually, since a lot of people recognize that band.
I'm 100% open to suggestions for my next video!
That was pretty good.

In case that music lesson didn't properly explain it, Bleed is tough as hell on the picking hand to play. I attempted it once last year and failed miserably. But I'll agree that it's a damn good song, and if I ever build my picking hand dexterity up enough to play that song, then count on a cover. :)
Just bumping to ask what people would be interested in seeing for my next cover. I'm thinking about starting my next "project" and I'm looking for technical songs that would help improve my dexterity in both my right and left hand. Currently thinking about a song by Elitist, like below.

CAFO is a little unrealistic (in other words, impossible) but On Impulse is a realistic song I can try, as in I've noodled around with it before and I feel I can play it with some solid practice. Thanks for the recommendation though, great band =) New album is coming soon hey!
Nice but you should enable embedding ....
Yeah I find it very pompous when someone disables embedding on their videos, makes it seem that all they care about is views and not showing people their talent. So sorry im not watching the clip.
Fairly sure embedding still adds views.

Either way, if you're video isn't shitty, niche, and is properly tagged, it will get views if you share it around.

I apologize if I came off the wrong way. My intent was to try and gather suggestions on what I did right, and what I could improve on in my video. Out of the 500-700 comments across all my videos, I've only ever received 2 or 3 comments saying things like "Hey, why don't you try doing this next time?" and so on. I realize a lot of Facepunch users have experience with video editing, so I try and look for their opinions on how my video looks, cause I'm still pretty new at this. I would be lying if I said I didn't care about views, however, that isn't my main goal of this thread. I just wanted to share my video with people, because on Youtube it doesn't receive much attention at all, averaging maybe 5-10 views every few days, and maybe one comment a month.
