Whenever the Middle East calms down a bit, I hope to goto Al Darra and go about a trade of information with some of the local gunsmiths there. Would be an amazing learning experience.
That's very cool. Didn't VICE news go to that town a few years ago as well? Anyway, what's the general quality of the guns made there? For a town that specializes in it so much I'd imagine them to be high quality.
The material they use tends to be low quality, but if you bring materials for them to work with, they'll use them for your firearm.

The actual process that goes into them is high quality but the materials are whatever they can get, so you'll have stuff like the firing pins breaking, gas systems exploding/melting or stocks snapping.
i love how they shoot with their middle fingers in case their creation blows up
