shit movie 0/5 not going to watch
4/5
the plot was ok
I liked the first movie.
Idea of a hunger games movie is good, it's just that the first was poorly done and I think the second will also be poorly done.
Her face is so emotionless
Wait wait. Is this already the second movie?
The second and third books are terrible, they get worse as it goes on.
Here is a great review of the first movie

hell yeeeeeeeeeee! fuck all yall this is gonna be awesome
Hot actress.
6/5.
It was hot.
Eugh, the second book is the worst out of the lot and apparently the film will be bad too.
But I (like big butts and I) can't deny the actress that plays Katniss is hot.
I hope the camera-work is better in the second one, the first one was the only movie I've ever gotten motion sickness from.
The first one seemed like a huge ripoff of Battle Royale honestly.
First movie was entertaining at least.
This just looks fucking boring.
The Hunger Games: the first one did well so you better bet that we are going to make a second one.
They should call it.

More like, the first one was based of a book, and that book had a sequel, so we're making another movie.
First movie was alright but you could tell they cut a ton of shit out of it.

The non-theatrical release is rated 15. I noticed a lot more violence/blood added in.
This looks way better than the first movie, to me.
Glad they managed to not spoil everything in the teaser.
mmmmmmm Jennifer Lawrence.
just read the books the movies ruin the plot for the people who were introduced to them by the movie.
I only saw one Jennifer Lawrence movie and that was the first Hunger Games. In it I thought she played almost without any emotion.
As someone who read the books, Katniss is suppose to be emotionally limited. She's written to be cold and emotionally withdrawn as a character (which is one of the many reasons why the series culminates in her [sp]developing anorexia and attempting suicide multiple times[/sp] ). If you're unconvinced, watch some of Jennifer Lawrence's other performances; "Silver Linings Playbook" really shows the raw power she has as an actress.
The books themselves aren't bad. I read the whole series a year ago; "Catching Fire" is the slowest of the three, but it still has a lot of interesting sections which feel very mature for a YA novel. Overall, the 1st book and "Mockingjay" are probably the strongest in the series. They're pretty complex books for the YA genre; the 2nd & 3rd ones have references to forced male prostitution, depression, PTSD, GMs, revolutionary politics, revolutionary fallout, etc. There's some pretty decent political theory going on that I found pretty impressive as a Poli Sci minor :v:.

Plus the series was literally written as a response to the Iraq War's PTSD effects on American soldiers.
As the series goes on you gradually see how Katniss falls apart because of everything that happened in the 1st book. It's no coincidence that, at the end of the 3rd book, she [sp]kills the leader of the Revolution, goes temporarily insane, and attempts suicide.[/sp]
I saw the first movie while already familiar with Battle Royale, so I was expecting a crappy Americanized remake. In that sense I was pleasantly surprised. I enjoyed its satire, and they did a good job of making the competition believable.

Was the camera still shakey as shit? I heard there was awful camera shake in the fight scenes but I actually laughed out loud when I saw them.
