I'm pretty sure that it would be tricky to connect to a pacemaker, let alone hack into it.

They have pretty weak transmitters. The equipment medical professionals use to communicate with them have to be right up against the patient's body. It's probably better if there isn't strong security on them, anyway, since it would be disastrous if a hospital had to pull up a patient's file to shut one off if it malfunctioned or something.
