Hi everybody! I recently completed a project for a media class and thought some loyal STALKER fans might want to see it. Any feedback is greatly appreciated. Part 1 [FULL] Part 2 (to be released) [TEASER] Keep in mind - Little to no budget ($5) - filmed by 2 people as well as 2 actors. (...4 people) - filmed with a consumer camera (Canon Vixia HFR10) With that said please check it out! -Joe Careaga
Let me just get these out of the way: -"get out of here stalker" -"don't just stand there, come in" -"not enough vodka" In all seriousness, this is actually a pretty good fan video. It would be really awesome if you made more, and I would subscribe. The only thing that I didn't find appealing was the setting, as the trees in Chernobyl are primarily birch trees. But I understand if you were limited in the possible areas you could film
That is awesome, make it into a mini-series, get recognized, ????? Profit!
In it for the love man, but profit would be nice. Right now we are taking a break from filming then gettin' back on it this weekend. Glitch360 - Thanks for the positive feedback it means alot. As for part 2.. Let me just say that part 2 will kick off with alot action and stay fairly steady throughout. Right now the other guy and I are try to establish a bit of a fanbase, so any youtube support we can get can help us out tremendously!
Pretty nice, must have had some fun experimenting with the possibilities. However If you want to be a little more ambitious I suggest you do some research into cinematography as well as script writing. Get some dialogue and events in there because it’s pretty flat right now. But I’m sure you had a ton of fun making this, look forward to seeing more.
Thanks man, I definitely will look into it!
If I was a woman, I would let you fuck all my holes ALL OF THEM
Right on.
bright green backpack excellent camoflauge
Hell yeah man. Why wouldn't you wear any other backpack?
So I'm confused as to what actually happened.
Pretty cool, albeit a bit vague.
Nice job man
Music was perfect
Silly Stalker, a purple hood and a green sack will get you raped by them snorks.
Silly Stalker, a purple hood and a green sack will get you raped by them snorks.
Very true haha. As for the vague-ness. I realize how confusing and vague it is. We are trying to make the second part alot more solid and trying to find a way to get normal people who have no knowledge of the Stalker series, movie, books and such an idea of what is going on.
Bit short, but hey.
Yeah man I agree. Part 2 is looking to be 9-10 minutes.
Awesome, also, are you using the same mask?
I'd say pretty nice. Only problem (as I'm sure you're aware) is that, well, very little actually happened. Of course what did happen was done well. It was just a little uneventful. Looking forward to the next installment!
Yeah man same gas mask, In reality it was more or less a test to see how it would do on youtube. People seem to like it so we are going to keep moving. I've got 13 people this weekend for filming. I'm thinking a little action.
People watch this video were almost up to 1k =D
So I'm confused as to what actually happened.
Stalker quickly finds cover from a blowout, unfortunately it isn't sufficient protection, another stalker tries to drag him to safety once it's all over. I think. This is going to sound like a stupid question, but is this based on the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or the book/movie STALKER? I suppose it doesn't really matter that much (since S.T.A.L.K.E.R. is pretty heavily based on STALKER), but I've only played the first game - haven't seen the movie/read the book. BUT! - very nice job. Liked the effects.
Not as good as this:
Not as good as this:
Maybe if it was 2 minutes not 6.

The reason I chose the book and movie over the VG's was to be a little different then the STALKER themed typical videos.

Some video's load faster on 720p then 480p wtf? Ontopic, I really liked the video. Nice editing as well.
Thanks to everyone who has been saying nice things about are video =). We (mostly Jcareaga) put a lot of effort into it. Were hopping to have part 2 done by the end of the month but were having some trouble with the "actors" who keep flaking out on the day we decide to shoot. But in the end thanks for the support it means a lot and we'll keep all of you posted on the progress of part 2.
