It's difficult because Let's Plays are shit in general. It takes a certain kind of playing to be enjoyable. And usually it's just because the Let's Player happened to be lucky that they are naturally funny. Like Hamst3r and Dopefish. It's not really something you can improve on.

Then start sidetracking on other games and then you got yourself a bunch of sheep.
Have a few friends who have done it this way.
