Interesting point about Westerns imo
We should just have a thread on Soapbox, he uploads a new one like every week.

Apparently the video is private now Not sure what's going on [editline]26th July 2012[/editline] And it's back
actually wild west was LOVED by Italians and thats why there was a massive boom in the western genre in the 60s. in fact most films were originally were in Italian with dubs over the characters. thats why we call those movies spaghetti westerns.
He says, "One does not have the right to cock a snook at the other". He then proceeds to do exactly what he said he can't do, championing his favorite proposed crime sub-genre while demeaning the other. This guy strikes me as the typical pretentious film elitist.
No he doesn't, he says if organized crime movies is a separate genre, why can't those type of movies be a genre too?
That doesn't make any sense. If organized crime movies are a separate genre, those movies are in that separate genre, so they are a genre. :v:
