Its pretty funny. The last 2 videos talked about massive console successes but this video has to pretend the luke-warm successes of the ps3 are worth much. Its going to be even worse when they have to do the vita.

The odd thing is that it was cheaper then blu-ray players for a time.

Because by then they began locking down the hardware like fuck and all the 2-bit dev studios had either been forced out of business or absorbed into EA, Activision, UbiSoft or someone else who has the money to afford Sony's licensing fees and no idea of how to diversify the gaming industry outside of combat simulators.

I don't know why I expected these infomercials to not be Sony propaganda. I'd much rather have them make a much more detailed history, for example explaining how the Playstation started out as joint-project between Sony and Nintendo.

Ironically it was the cheapest blu-ray player at the time it was released.

They wouldn't do that. Why would they do that? Mentioning their competition would not bring them MONEY.
Playstation plus is still the best thing to come out of this console generation (even if it came a little too late). I mean like 25 full games for the PS3 and now Vita for £40 a month how can people not like this, especially with stuff like Sleeping Dogs, Red Dead and others having been on it. It's probably one of the few things which gives me hope for the PS4.
I uh, I thought the PS3 hindered developers in making quality games for it rather than help them?

Anybody noticed how they never mentioned Metal gear solid 4. I mean it's a pretty huge exclusive but they didn't even show it

and its still the fastest at loading blu-ray movies and has the best dvd up-scaling of any disc player
Well, that confirms it. No PS4 this year.
