That's awesome.
Only an idiot would think an unlimited mileage bumper to bumper warranty would be a waste of money, I wonder what kind of mental gymnastics they did to come up with that idea.

Well most people tend to make fun of warranties when it's only there to help you. Granted, it's essentially free money to whoever sells it to you, but only when nothing goes wrong.
With a car that you're driving around all the time, ANYTHING can go wrong, and having that extra security is worth every penny. Especially if it's an expensive car like that.
Good on Aston Martin to honor the warranty, though. A lot of dealers/manufacturers would be trying to weasel out of it at about the $2000 mark.

Think the case here was that he kept on repeating it.
I have no idea why would anyone have a problem with warranty.
My parents bought a '00 A3 and within a few weeks, it started having problems, like the airbag light kept coming on, the brake wear sensor started warning for new pads right after changing them, turning signals stopped working, and worst of all, the car wouldn't start every now and then, up until the point when it just didn't start at all, because of a stupid relay fuse that apparently is the bane of every VAG group car from before '01.
We got all of that fixed, and it costed us nothing whatsoever, and will keep on not costing a dime for a whole year.
The only downside we had was that the garage that did the repairs was half-assing it and not quite hitting the ball home, so we had to go back numerous times before everything got fixed. Plus the guy in charge was a bit of a knob when we complained about a few problems, saying it was "lack of practice" and that we should forget the driver's ed car (which is really easy to drive, which is also a dumb thing to say, because this should be even easier)
All mechanics are cocksuckers. It's a fact. They're all condesecending as if what they drive can't break down.
They really hate me when I bring my Saab in lol. Literally I hear people under their breath, "ugh I fucking hate this car"

That warranty was the smartest thing this guy could do. Can't imagine the amount of money poured into this thing on top of the $60k he dropped on it in the first place

There are a lot of shitty, dickheaded professional mechanics who think they're the next George Barris or something. But in general gearheads are good guys.

Saab's are a pain in the fucking dick to work on. Its not about their car not breaking down, its about the fixability of the problem.
Also, Aston is an English brand and you can trust English cars about as far as you can throw them, which is coincidentally about as far as you can drive them without issue.
