The game has also been funded and has now reached its first stretch goal, as mentioned in this update on the game's kickstarter.
Interesting to explain the background into the game via the Pied Piper, it leaves me asking for more. But sadly the game itself doesn't look appealing to me; it would be been a lot better had the game had its own linear story.
Likewise I don't know if its just testing, but the graphics look dated.

The game is Pre-Alpha.
Also I'm surprised about the huge change, was that the original story where [sp]It was Villagers and not children[/sp]?

I think the game would lose too much replay value if it had a linear story, considering that the goal is to find the maintenance hatch and escape
It'd be interesting to see this have linear aspects, and they do interject some bits of story into it, as seen in the 15 minute gameplay video. But it would be nice to see like an actual story in the campaign ontop of a sandbox mode.
I'm pledging for this because it gives me this feeling of YET ANOTHER survival game but in a really interesting different presentation. That and it looks like it'll be an interesting SP survival which there dont seem to be too many that aren't just cookie cutter survival games but just in SP. The graphics aren't spectacular but i couldn't really care about that. I'd rather gameplay over graphics and even if they stayed as they are the style of the game's art makes it work and still nice to look at.

I'm pretty sure that's what they are doing
