It's not really a fight.. If this is a fight than that feminist getting pushed to the ground should also be considered a fight.
jesus christ... that's... one of the more painful looking things I've ever seen
Looks like she was harassing them, screaming that she has a pussy? or that's she'll "fuck them up" Can't really tell until I see the whole thing though.
Face stomping is never ok though.
It's not really a fight.. If this is a fight than that feminist getting pushed to the ground should also be considered a fight.
Difference between shoving a woman away from you, and stomping someone's face when they're on the ground
Also while I definitely think that those guys (or that guy) were cunts for doing something like that, she really should have used some common sense and just walked away. Not a good idea to taunt a good idea to insult and taunt a group of guys when you're alone.
not saying she deserved it but maybe if she wasn't being belligerent she wouldn't have gotten face stomped
I know people should be able to identify and dress however they like... but why go out of your way to make yourself stand out? Bigoted people will always take advantage of the situation and try to put you down for it.
What's with the jump cuts

Because a guy who truly feels that he is a woman shouldn't have to be closeted.
Because a guy who truly feels that he is a woman shouldn't have to be closeted.
Yeah but there's dressing like a woman and there's dressing like a clown.
I mean if I saw a woman with breasts and everything wear an outfit similar to this one I'd still find it dumb as shit.
why would she even yell at someone like that? that is like asking for trouble
stupid girl
Because a guy who truly feels that he is a woman shouldn't have to be closeted.
I never said they shouldn't, but the fact of the matter is that people still have negatives feelings about it. You're putting yourself in a really risky place by being flamboyant, even if it is your right to do so. Arguing and yelling "I have a pussy!" in the middle of the street makes everyone look bad. Also, this:
Yeah but there's dressing like a woman and there's dressing like a clown.

Oh god damn that look like it hurt.
Because a guy who truly feels that he is a woman shouldn't have to be closeted.
Also this.
This is right down the road from where I live. Just another day at L5P.
What the fuck is wrong with people
Yeah but there's dressing like a woman and there's dressing like a clown.
So if you think someone dresses weirdly... so what? Why do you care how they dress?
What's with the jump cuts
I guess this is actually a series of vines stitched together
http://thegavoice.com/trans-woman-brutally-attacked-little-five-points/
Ouch, that was incredibly cruel and fucked up
So if you think someone dresses weirdly... so what? Why do you care how they dress?
These people did, clearly, and there's a lot of people like that out there. I'm all about self-identity, but there comes a limit where people are gonna say shit, and there's absolutely nothing you can do about that. You're just fueling the fire, not promoting change.
Because a guy who truly feels that he is a woman shouldn't have to be closeted.
It's not closeting someone, it's asking them not to look like a fool in public. It doesn't matter what gender you are, you could think you're a gender-fluid trans-panda pork tenderloin for all i care, when you go out in public looking like that, you're gonna get looks. I definitely agree with you, don't get me wrong, but there's limits to everything.
Personally, i think the person had it coming, they were obviously harassing the other folks and causing problems. The face stomping was way too far though, they could have easily just pushed them or called the police.

Though, not to justify the face stomping, there could easily be more to this we aren't seeing.
What's with the jump cuts
probably use something like vine
So if you think someone dresses weirdly... so what? Why do you care how they dress?
Well someone's dress code is a pretty solid indicator of a lot of things - confidence, wealth, taste in clothing, sense of fashion, relation to authority and conventions, etc.
It's pretty natural to judge people based on how they dress, it's no big deal.
had it coming for talking shit to random thugs
the person recording should have intervened instead of doing nothing about it
I think it would be ok to knock some sense into a person acting like that, but face stomping is just way to fucking far
Ouch, that was incredibly cruel and fucked up
Looks like the guy just threw her to the ground and hit her in the first way he found. Whether or not it's cruel and fucked up really depends on how many hits he landed before. I can't speak for everyone else but generally if I have to hit someone I'll just go for the crotch or the face, because the last thing I want is a fight that lasts for longer than like two hits.
the person recording should have intervened instead of doing nothing about it
And also get beat by the mob of angry haters? For all we know he was phoning the police during this. I personally would not have risked myself for this woman, with the way she was acting.

Or maybe the guy was part of the crowd and just stepped back to record it ?
Not to mention, the video cuts literally right as she gets hit, we don't even know if whoever filmed helped her or stopped them or whatever. When these videos drag on for any longer usually the crowd very quickly grabs whoever is winning the fight to prevent a beatdown from becoming a murder.

OH wow this thread is going fast, not a single one of my posts have auto-merged so far :v:
If you don't know the area, you don't really know either. On one hand, this person really doesn't look a bit out of place in Little Five Points. There's a hippie commune right across the street next to the Hindu-themed organic grocery. On the other, it is not an area you want to be caught slipping and/or raising hell though. Someone tried to mug me right around the corner from where it's filmed and a lot of hard/homeless dudes hang out there. I would -never- in my life attempt to draw so much attention to myself in that area. From the tiny vertical slice we've been allowed to see, this person was acting like a jackass. Talked shit. Got hit. Not that it's ever 'okay' to use physical violence against someone, but when you're acting like that in a place like that you know what you're getting into.
