That's Gorillaz alright, they do Trip-Hop aswell so this can be expected of them.
Don't like it as much as their older albums.

D-Sides was a joke, there was a reason they were never released on the main albums. Damon Albarn (The main member, in fact, one of two band members, the other doesn't even play) is actually working on a new album right now, a few of the demo songs have been released.
EDIT: Just checked, their next album, Plastic Beach comes out this year. The first single is to be released January 26th.
This was recorded way before they started work on the third album, so if you don't like this style you have nothing to worry about.
Their first album was amazingly great, Demon Days was pretty good, and D-sides was utter bullshit.
