The Russians may not want War, but most Ukrainians don't want close ties with Russia, so they should stop arming Russian Nationalists and stop sending troops into the Ukrainian border, will they stop? probably not.
the ukrainians arent going to get much out of europe to begin with this blockade of russia is already hurting certain people in europe....france,germany etc...this is just something the Ukrainian oligarchs did so they can be more powerful... this might end up really bad like berlin again...thanks obama you really fucked with our hopes of ever working together again with the russian people that could have benefited humanity,Ukraine is sibling of russia and messing around with it is a sensitive issue...i dont think we are prepared for the longrun if we truly break Ukraine away from Russian influence [editline]8th June 2015[/editline] funny thing is...this issue brought certain major European leaders closer to russia under the table.
Honestly, its not a hard narrative to believe. Russia wants to punish Ukraine for leaving its sphere of influence.
Well, that's what happens when your president is a former KGB agent. You know, the secret service of the corrupt government that you brought down 25 years ago.
[QUOTE='KING]THT[WRATH;47911081']Honestly, its not a hard narrative to believe. Russia wants to punish Ukraine for leaving its sphere of influence.[/QUOTE] not only that they want to keep its reach into the black sea

Is Ukraine actively invading Russian soil right now?[/QUOTE] im pro for a unified future.im looking at the long run of things, how certain people are going to feel in the future...i could be wrong and this is just one big hoax no russia is,the russians are trying re-unify the slavic people and make sure that people dont take advatage of them along with making sure russia itself still maintains a presence in the black sea for its advantages. but you have to ask your self what causes this event and why did certain people encourage it.
[QUOTE=justin gurel;47911494]what do you mean? like this would give advantage for russians to get in on the atlantic trade deal if western Ukraine is part of it? im not sure because how you worded it.[/QUOTE] Russia's geopolitical concern here is to prevent a slide from political influence. With the threat of its former border states and buffer zones leaving its sphere of influence, Russia is looking at NATO at its borders and losing markets in Ukraine and the Caucuses. The solution to prevent this is to establish a state of constant need among its border states, who, when the pressure is on, can not afford to cut trade or existing political relations. Russia is still a global power, but it's losing its prestige. It's holding onto its regional power status with all its got. By destabilizing local nations, it creates dependence, or at least it prevents those countries from joining the west. Ukraine can never enter NATO or the EU if it's constantly at war or in a politically dubious situation for the next forty years. At best Russia maintains its status quo, at worst it prevents an outright "defection" by neighboring countries to its international political and military opposition.

They're perfectly content to throw them under the bus as long as they get to drive said bus.

[editline]9th June 2015[/editline] the country is split now and now if this is going to work US and EU need to throw money at it
Having some serious cheeki breeki bandit flashbacks right now.
Russia has been fucking over Ukraine for centuries so what they're doing to the country right now is pretty downright disgusting to be honest. [editline]10th June 2015[/editline] As offensive as it sounds the Russian Governing authority has always been the bad guy, and will continue being the bad guy in the foreseeable future. Just take a look at all the shit they've done in the last 77 years.
God damn, the guy doing the questions at the beggining sounds exactly like one of the NPC generic voice actors from STALKER that did the russian lines. Specially when he pronounces "sakatoya", no clue what the russian word would be.

I don't get why the Russian government keeps denying the allegations of Russian troops in Ukraine when there is nearly undeniable proof the Russian state is interfering in the Ukrainian conflict.
