I've recently taken an obsessive interest in video remixes; songs that use clips from movies or cartoons to make a song out of it. One, I'd like to discuss ways to -create- video remixes, and I'd like everyone to share what they've got. There are some REALLY creative masterpieces out there. Alice in Wonderland Remix (Very trippy) The Golden Age of Video (uses clips from hundreds of different movies and shows. Amazing) I've Got a Jar of Dirt (Pirates of the Caribbean. Silly nonsense) Why is the Rum Gone? (Pirates of the Caribbean. Fairly well done. Catchy too) They're taking the Hobbits to Isengard! (Lord of the Rings. If you don't know this one, welcome to the internet) C64 version: Mashed Taters (Lord of the Rings. Another classic) Eclectic Method (More of a celebration of every Tarantino Film. Fun. But not too catchy) Alohamora (Harry Potter Remix. Not a whole lot of technical skill, but beautiful nonetheless) Bangarang (Another Pogo video remix. Very catchy. You won't be able to listen to it just once.) Scrumdiddlyumptious (Pogo again. This one is my favorite. I tried to sing along but... I lack the six extra mouths required) Pulp Fiction Audio Mix I'll keep this as the 'Video Remix' list for facepunch. Post your links here, and I'll stick em in the OP.
Great thread. It's snowing hard outside and I'm in the mood for something like that. Also,'d at We kicked his ass! Louis, this is not my Batman glass.
Don't forget the Amazing Horse ones.
You forgot the Tarantino Mixtape by Eclectic Method
Probably my favorite one. That Pogo guy is a fucking genius.
