OOOOOOOOOooooo i would love to play some animal crossing on PC
that video is being played at 10x the normal speed. not as functional as it should be yet but thats pretty awesome reguardless
The fact that this emulator is playing commercial games at all (even if the video is 10x the render speed) and the fact that they look remotely this good is incredible, considering how young the project is.

Why is this titled "Nintendo is finished"?
Why is this titled "Nintendo is finished"?
Sensationalist Headline
Why is this titled "Nintendo is finished"?
Now with this emulator out, people have no reason to buy a single Nintendo product ever again, when they can just emulate it all They're doomed
Why is this titled "Nintendo is finished"?
because they're always finished.
Why is this titled "Nintendo is finished"?
I suppose the assumption is that nobody will buy the 3DS because you can play the games on your PC? Which isn't really true, since having the actual hardware is going to be a better experience than an emulator, especially if the emulator isn't exactly up to snuff performance wise yet.
I tried a Nintendo DS emulator, and couldn't really get into it. It just controls weird. Pretty cool regardless.

Good luck trying to emulate a Rhythm Heaven game without shitty delay screwing you over.
No 3D 0/10
Haven't there been DS emulators on android for years now?
because they're always finished.
People have literally been saying they were doomed since the "Sega does what Nintendon't" commercials were airing 25 years ago. [editline]6th January 2015[/editline]
Haven't there been DS emulators on android for years now?
The DS and the 3DS are very very different things
The DS and the 3DS are very very different things
What's the difference?
What's the difference?
They're different in everything but the name. Completely different hardware.
Doomed since 1889!
What's the difference?
You do know how console generations work, right?
Doomed since 1889! You do know how console generations work, right?
Same basic concept with upgrades? I don't understand what you're trying to say.
Same basic concept with upgrades? I don't understand what you're trying to say.
the next-gen version of the DS
the next-gen version of the DS
So a DS with a better battery life?
So a DS with a better battery life?
oh god
-snip-
So a DS with a better battery life?
better hardware in general. so yeah, better battery life, more powerful etc. to run those next-gen games that wouldn't really be possible to run on the older DS. also has 3D but since its really not that great no one really uses it.
better hardware in general. so yeah, better battery life, more powerful etc. to run those next-gen games that wouldn't really be possible to run on the older DS. also has 3D but since its really not that great no one really uses it.
So it really is just a better DS?
So it really is just a better DS?
The same could be said of most new consoles tho
So it really is just a better DS?
It's like PS1 and PS2, it's a lot more powerful and all the internals are different, so there's no way 3DS games would run on a DS emulator
Pretty sure this guy is trolling you all
So it really is just a better DS?
yeah, also newer since they won't stick with outdated hardware forever. old hardware is going to get obsolete at some point.
