from the new movie

:(
:why:
I like the part with Missy Elliott but overall it is very meh.
It's as if someone wrapped the movie in a neat 3 minute package.
I can't wait for the [del]trainwreck[/del]premiere
Awwh no..
I love FOB, too, but this is really... underwhelming and unimpressive. Missy Elliott was pretty good though but still.
Nowhere near Ray Parker Jr's masterpiece.
Fall Out Boy? More like Sell Out Boy, aayyy!
Whenever I think Ghostbusters, I think of this remix:

Someone needs to take a Sony Exec out back and put it out of its misery.

An unexpected collab to say the very least. Fall Out Boy's old stuff was so much better than their new stuff :(

Who, Amy Pascal?
She was also behind the planned Amazing Spider-Man series, so i'd agree.
Totally over-produced. I liked the Missy Elliott verse, but I think even that would be a bad fit for Ghostbusters.
Where's the amateurish, but fun 80's vibe? They've totally missed what made Ghostbusters so great
I cringed as soon as I heard the first few seconds.
Yet another example of the producers of this movie really not understanding what would make a ghostbusters remake something fans would want. This almost feels parody.
Actually, I'm convinced now that was never their intention to appease fans from the get-go.
Now it sounds like every other Fallout Boy song ever.
fallout boy was never that good, anyway.

their first 3 albums were great, but they went downhill from there.

guess you could say they didn't exactly go down swingin
At first it felt mostly "eh, it's not tripe but it's also nothing special."
And then the rap kicked in.

ironicly reminds of all those awkward shoe-in songs movies did to try and rip off ghostbusters in the 90s
why are they trying to make the line "I ain't 'fraid 'a no ghosts" sound serious
it's like they want it to fail
is there any way that they haven't completely shat on Ghostbusters? i don't think any single Sony exec needs to be taken out back and shot so much entire film division just needs to be razed to the ground
It's amazing to me how the news can look at this with a straight face and say "The internet is full of a bunch of babies that just want a carbon copy of the original Ghostbusters."
I guarantee anyone who blindly defends this will try to forget it exists when it releases
Can't they just release that song they used in the trailers? I didn't mind that one but this is shit.
These guys sure aren't no Happy Hamsters.

I liked this comment though

I wish Fall Out Boy would go back to this sound.

Probably will never happen though
Are there any actual good spinoffs/remixes of the song?
Man, they're really pulling out all the stops to suck as much as they can, aren't they?
It's like they want to see how far they can go while riding under the "you're sexist" shield.
pfft, the entire thing is either straight up bad or just mediocre. i didn't even like the missy elliot verse.

It's like the person who drew that box art has never seen a hamster
