Apparently he has been since September. A lot of members of machinima that didn't use the intro are being asked to use the intro now e.g. DSP has them at the beginning of his Unboxing videos and the like now.

They can cancel the partnership if content makers don't follow their rules. This would end the publicity, their videos hosted on the Machinima channel and any payment.

It's so damn hard, though, since there's lots of parts where ring paths are nearly or outright unavoidable. Only thing that could make it worth it all, though, would be a joke like when Robotnik runs away to get ready for the final boss fight, he eats a single ring in his path which kills him due to him already having so much fat or something. But I guess it's a fun, if not sadistic, attempt at learning how to avoid rings otherwise, though. :v:
