Cockatoos are fucking insane.
Birds are so cute
birds are seriously underappreciated pets, most people just put 'em in a cage and let 'em wither away
Why are they yelling stuff? Just playful behavior or?
They just imitate their environment in hopes of blending in. I don't know if Cockatoo's will do this in particular, but some species of birds can mimic other birds to exploit them for food. To us it sounds like gibberish because we can tell they are just sampling sounds at random from their memory.
birds are seriously underappreciated pets, most people just put 'em in a cage and let 'em wither away
My friend has made me appreciate birds by spamming me bird videos. I now seriously consider getting a bird, except it requires such a commitment that makes it unfeasible for me to.
When I read the title "cuckatoo", I thought this thread was going to be a lot more nsfw

Oh god, they sound a bit like old people rambling about nothing.
