That is fucking incredible. Imagine playing Command & Conquer with that, it would be amazing.
Wow, I reckon movie cases are gonna start getting real awesome.
Holy shit.
Pretty fucking cool. Too bad it doesn't seem like it could do moving images, though. Could mean a whole new world for games/tv if it could.
Gordon shaved his chin
I'm an architecture student and holy shit I think I need to go change my pants be right back. Like, DAMN.
That is fucking incredible. Imagine playing Command & Conquer with that, it would be amazing.
it would be pretty hard to play it on a static holographic image
I wanna take 2 of them and make it look like I have portals between different rooms in my house [editline]12th February 2013[/editline] Make an underground lair and use these as windows

Can be done by placing LEDs there where the printed color is. All that's left is an algorithm for the GPU that translates a 3D world to such a view. I think that it works similar to lenticular lenses, except much more complex by supporting all angles by tiny steps.
Saw this years ago, what happened to it?
Imagine tiling the floor or the walls in these things.
http://www.zebraimaging.com/pricing/
Well, for what it is it's quite an impressively low price.
