So this just got posted on my Facebook by a friend, it's this weird Silent Hill-esque take on what the creator (Graham Young) thinks about the video game industry. If you've played Half-Life 2 expect the immersion to be removed somewhere in the video (won't spoil it). Gives me the shivers (but I'm a pansy so you horror vets shouldn't be phased at all)

For those of you who aren't going to watch it or don't understand the message it is how motion control has "casualized" the industry and how it will be the eventual death of Mario and Miyamoto. The torture device used on Mario is the glove from the title screen of Super Mario 64.

So...all the while Mario was fighting Bowser (in a game), when really Bowser needs Mario to live (otherwise he would not be in a game at all)
In the end, Bowser realizes this and tries to save Mario...but Mario has killed him................

[sp]I feel like the story in this is exactly like Star Wars: The Return of the Jedi. Mario poisons Miyamoto, then as Mario is dying at the hands of Reggie, Miyamoto saves Mario then dies and Mario kills himself. Luke Skywalker fatally wounded Darth Vader, then the Emperor tries to kill Luke, but Darth Vader saves him then dies. The only difference is that Luke didn't use poison or kill himself at the end.
I also feel like the creepiness is a gimmick to keep you watching. I also don't agree with the moral of the video (Motion controls will ruin Nintendo then ruin Mario). I don't like motion controls, but they're the future. Motion appeals to the casual gamers and casuals drive the video game market nowadays. Nintendo also does a great job making games. I don't think Mario will die for a long, long time. [/sp]

How will motion controls kill the biggest gaming icon ever created? If anything, the Wii has given the franchise an even bigger platform to build off of, it is in no way killing Mario, if anything, it's helping Nintendo create amazing Mario games such as Galaxy 1 & 2.

It's seen through the eyes of a "hardcore" gamer. I disagree with the message but I can see the creator's fears.
Please don't give people a reason to write Silent Hiill/Mario fan fiction.
