Just realized I also posted the book 3 trailer on this section too :p
[sp]Omg Toph[/sp]
I haven't watched book 3. Are the earth benders the bad guys now or something?
How the fuck is [sp]toph[/sp] happening. Haven't watched book 3. Books 1+2 were a huge letdown for me minus the odd episode.
I only started watching book 3 without having a clue about the last airbender cartoon, other than the movie which I didn't like. (pretty much like anyone else haha) And I love it you don't even need to understand the story it pulls you in. And considering I watched xiaolin showdown first and when I first saw Aang I was like eh? this kid looks like a rip-off Omi with the water manipulating and whatnot. This is also why i don't really bother about this series that much.
FUCKKK I haven't even finished book 2 because it seemed to be going downhill, but I keep hearing good things about Book 3. Time to get back into it...
I can't wait because I actually enjoyed the story of each and every single one...
I never watched the series, but I've heard a lot about it, mostly good things. But holy shit I can imagine this trailer is hype as fuck for people who love the series, especially since it looks awesome to me and I know nothing about it :v:
I wonder if they're going to shove this online like they did with the last 5 EPs of last season
At some point I need to watch Legend of Korra. At the end of August I watched like half a season a night of The Last Airbender and loved it. Then I watched the first episode of LoK and it just kinda didn't hook me. I think my issue is it tried to be so damned showy and flashy. Its like they wanted to cram so much shit in to that first episode hoping that would sell and it just didn't.

Having only watched Avatar The Last Airbender, technology has most certainly advanced from that era hasn't it? What are those? Earth Bending Mecha? They look badass, I'm assuming this current era must have gone though a type of Industrial revolution? It would make sense from what I saw originally in the Last Airbender, and the advances made back then. Guess I better start watching The Legend of Korra now I suppose.

The second season is entirely skippable, though you might want to watch the Avatar Wan two-parter since it's the highlight of the season. All you need to take away is what happens at the end of season two. Season three is up to the original in terms of quality and I highly recommend it. They learned how to pace a 13 episode series by the third season. [editline]27th September 2014[/editline]
I wonder if they're going to shove this online like they did with the last 5 EPs of last season
It does so poorly on TV that they don't even bother airing them anymore. Anyone who's interested in Korra watches it online.
Fwi for those of you that stopped after book 2 of korra, book 3 is so much better. As good as any Aang series imo.

Way better than season 2, somewhat better than season 1 because there's no love triangle bullshit.
I'd be surprised if they didn't mention her "leaving and never seen again" in the last season, which was in a very awkward and out of place scene. Basically if it wasn't of relevance, they'd have never had that scene at all, and it didn't connect to anything.
the problem with Korra was they originally didn't think they'd get another season cause Nick likes to dick them around, which is why S1 feels so self contained. S2 was then rushed along and floundered cause the creators had no real plan and Nick was forcing them to meet some very dumb deadlines. Even S3 was almost ended cause Nick has a hateboner on Avatar. i'm just amazed there's a fourth season.
I've only seen Korra in rule34 porn. is it worth it to watch the TV show?
I've only seen Korra in rule34 porn. is it worth it to watch the TV show?
The show is almost as good as the porn. And I mean that as a compliment.
if you stopped at season 2 it's worth struggling through to watch season 3 also season 2 has two really good episodes
The show is almost as good as the porn. And I mean that as a compliment.
Are you sure? Shadman's the Lezzing of Korra was quite high quality.
Are you sure? Shadman's the Lezzing of Korra was quite high quality.
it was certainly more well written than korra season 2
Book 3 shits on book 2. It's much more interesting and it's just overall better in every way [editline]27th September 2014[/editline] Oh holy shit it's on October 3. That was fast
Looks interesting but i dunno if I wanna watch another season of this. Korra is insufferable as a main character. the show itself is good though

Looks really interesting. Season 2 knocked my interest but Season 3 brought it back. Season 4 seems to continue that trend, which is great. Also, an interesting point someone pointed out- [sp]Korra visits that jungle from TLA that causes you to face individuals you thought you lost. Who does Korra meet in the Jungle?[/sp][sp]Korra from the end of Season 3.[/sp]

So they got giant iron-human tank things now? Man the show got really steampunk now huh. Maybe I should start watching the second season.
