At 1:30 in the vid, anchor says Assange is profiting from classified info. How does she know what's in the book. It hasn't been written yet.
2:11 Anchor argues Assange shouldn't write a book because other people have, and writing a book
would be "following in the model" of the people "he derides". Somehow it's a "contradiction" in her mind.
2:32 She asks Greenwald to explain his ultimate goal, as though there haven't been a million interviews by Assange himself explaining his purpose.
3:49 Greenwald has given a good answer, but she wants to 'press in again just so we understand' with a quote "the more secretive or unjust an organization is, the more leaks induce fear and paranoia". So, the anchor says, "he should expect the reaction he's seen. And he should be prepared to go to jail." It appears the anchor thinks the government is secretive and unjust. Then, in her unbiased reporting, she offers that a distinction should be made between documents that have been stolen, and documents that "come to you".
At 5:34 about halfway through, the anchor remembers Fran Townsend is also part of the interview.
6:33 Townsend's apparently never heard of Assange prior to this leak. An astonishing admission in
itself. Then she repeats that he's a terrorist profiting from classified information again, even though the point was handled at length in the first part of the piece. She wrongly states the number of documents released and thinks Assange has been charged with some crime. Clearly she's not prepared to speak on the subject, much less have an opinion.
9:11 Townsend thinks Assange didn't take steps to redact anything or withhold anything. Apparently she's also unaware that he contacted the White House asking for assistance in doing just that, and was turned down. Or, that he only released documents that the newspapers he was working with deemed newsworthy.
10:04 The anchor cuts Greenwald off in the middle of his answer showing Townsend was lying, to go to the apparently more important issue of the Swedish rape inquiry. Again, Greenwald has to point out that Assange has not been charged with anything.

I'd buy the book. When I comes out I'll grab a copy.

e: christ the other girl is too
Do these people really think that the man who wants to leak government injustices to as many people as possible would put further leaks in a book that you have to buy to get? Are they really that naive?
If he wants to make a book, he should be allowed to. He has an interesting story to tell, and the 1st amendment rights of the US should guarantee him be allowed to publish it in the US, and in any other country for that matter.
I'm pretty sure he would want to be avoiding the US for quite a while, what if all the talk about espionage.
Anchor is a wanker.
I'm not going to watch the rest of the video because it's heavily biased.
Clearly Joe Biden is just saying that because he's already a public official it would be ridiculous to say anything different.
And the interviewers are very ignorant. I am very disappointed in CNN. If I were Joe Biden OR Obama I'd contact Assange. Obviously he has something useful to say.
That lawyer was just destroying those two. Even when they tried to gang up on them he just shot them down right away.
So buying this book now
