If the video seems shaky, it's because I was terrified, obviously.
I mean c'mon, I nearly died there. It's dangerous to get that close to a wasp.
Wasp are cunts.
This is a fact as reinforced by this video.

it's fine, You did well even coming that close! I would of wussed out!
wasps are cute
that's no damn wasp
that looks like a hornet or some shit
I mean, I hate wasps as much as the next guy and I don't mean to downplay you being scared as fuck (I would be too) but it was just ONE wasp. As long as you didn't do anything incredibly stupid, its unlikely it would have bothered you.
Though I'm impressed you managed to get that close without it flipping the fuck out.

looks more like a hornet with its coloration but it appears to be a 'red wasp'

I'd suggest doing something to prevent it from finishing a colony since if they move in it can often contain 800 total wasps. They're considered 'beneficial' but if they're in an area where they'll likely end up conflicting with people and pets (like a bird feeder in your yard) it's advised to remove it as it's being built. Be safe!

Mud daubers I can kind of understand because they don't fuck with you at all, but all the others can go fuck themselves.

This just got posted in LMAO pics a few days back, too relevant.
I don't know why but wasps don't seem to really give a shit about me, am I doing something wrong?
I wouldn't mind a world where things like wasps / other big disgusting insects just became extinct. Nothing worse than sitting in your back garden only to have one of those fuckers come along and ruin your chilling out session.
Strap some plastic explosives to that birdfeeder while you still can and blow it the fuck up.
There was a yellow jacket's nest in a bird feeder at my grandpas house several years ago. My stepmom went to open it and then closed her eyes and threw it on the ground. She kept saying run, run!! but I thought they were flies at first. I idiotically decided to look at them closer and only realized they were wasps when I was 5 feet away. One of the bastards got me on the leg as I was getting away.
wasps are cute
If they weren't literally the second most annoying animal behing mosquitos and ahead of jellyfish I would agree but given they hurt like a bitch and are fucking nuisances on humanity they're not cute.
I'll probably have to go out tomorrow and "remove" the small nest from the feeder, before it gets larger, as other's have said here.
Sooo, I gotta kill the bastard's hopes and dreams tomorrow. Any tips for what to use?

Use tape to cover the entrance while hes in it, then move it far away

try putting a lizard in there and see if it eats the wasp, record it too.
Fire.
Pre-emptive nuclear strike.
Once randomly walking down the street I had a red wasp just hovering in front of me. I stopped and hesitated, so I tried walking around the wasp but each time I changed directions the wasp reacted by hovering to that direction. Finally, I backed down and used a different route.
I was bullied by a wasp delinquent.
I remember by the side of my house where my neighbor stores his garbage bins, there was this fucking wasp nest there. My neighbor wasn't gonna have any of that shit, and one day I heard from outside "BUUUUURN" and I went out and saw him blasting the wasp nest with a hose and some aerosol. Idk what he used or how it even worked but the wasps are gone so
That's a paper wasp and they aren't as aggressive as you'd think. I have a nest in my window that I left alone because they eat a lot of pest species and help local plants.
That sounds exactly like what a wasp would say

We got an infestation it seems. Get the flamethrowers!
Oh come it's so easy, just seal up all the holes in the bird feeder except one that the queen cannot use to get out, and then flood the entire birdfeeder up to the top, drowning the fuckers.

I would've moved house
