The guy has said that he plans on hunting wild pigs eventually. I can only imagine how awesome it'll be to watch him make some bushcraft sling, and go hunting with it.

Is there a video of him making this garden? would really like to see the process of its creation tbh.
I wish any of those "open world survival" video games would get anywhere near that level of detail instead of just "click here to craft 1 pot with 2 clay". To me these videos are sooo satisfying to watch because of all the handwork that goes into making even the most simple things.
Never expected to see Primitive Technology here. His hut building videos are amazing.

That water must be full of ash, blegh.

Wurm Online and Terrafirmacraft are probably the best wilderness survival experiences you can get that aren't Early Access. There's also Savage world which is supposed to be really deep and complex but I could never get past the visuals.

Savage lands, not world.

Hey man, don't talk shit about rock soup. The way he made it might not look appealing, but the way it is usually done is using a massive pot filled with veggies and meat and shit. The amount of ash that gets in is negligible at that point.
With all of the ash that he's been making, why hasn't he really considered making a charcoal filter of sorts?

There is actually - Wurm online, though I doubt you'd want to spend an hour on making that pot.

I've been wondering this myself. Though his use of ash as a non-sticking agent will never cease to amaze, it's never something i would have considered. I've always wondered if he's had people stumble across him or his huts and what they would think and how they'd react :v:

It's just water, apparently.

Some people have, they think it's neat. But it's quite remote, and the guy who owns the area keeps an eye out for potential vandals.
Isn't a bit of ash good for the digestive system anyway? Still, I do wonder what he made the camera out of.

There's a semiconductor, optics, and battery fabrication plant, just off-frame.

That's a really high quality potato he grew. How he got it to record in HD is beyond me.

Or Unreal World, which might be the most feature-rich survival game of them all but is quite the ordeal to get into what with it being a roguelike with lines-of-sight and tank controls. It's well worth it, though.
