If you take out the fact that it took so long to make, this looks pretty awesome. But seriously, several months of work and this is the result? That's a bit slow.

That kind of reminds me of that 1997 game Codename Tenka.

Notch makes his engines from scratch, so this is a significant amount of work, but it's not really reasonable that it took him this long. After all, a video came out a few months ago that looked like it had identical rendering and physics features. If I remember correctly, it was using TF2 models as placeholders. The question is, what did he do in between then?

Didn't he say that v0.1 was really shit so he scrapped it and started over? Thats probably why it seems like so little has been done.

Games take a long time to develop, that's why most companies don't show off anything until it is near completion.

This video specifically, though, has two problems. 1, it's not early, but it REALLY looks like it is. And 2, it doesn't show off the concept of the game, at all.

hope this game turns out pretty cool. for now however, (and not being a programmer so i dont know how this shit works) there's not much i can say. not that anyone actually gives a shit what i have to say. or what on anyone on fp says or anyone in general. fuck this im outta here
